The daylily sale to benefit the Florida Wildlife Federation
will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the federation offices
2545 Blairstone Pines Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32301.
There is plenty of free parking at the building which is located just south of St. Augustine
Road off of Blairstone Road.
A package of 12 different daylilies is $10.00.

daylilies to be sure they don't sell out or if you want more than a dozen so that your
package will have more colors.
Daylilies should be planted just below the surface, mulched lightly and watered in for a week
or so then treated as any other plant. Different types will put out new leaves at different times
during the winter but all will be ready for next year's bloom. Freezes may cause leaves to
die back but will not hurt the plants. Sun or partial shade is preferred.
