The Mittan Botanical Gardens are located at 11398 Buck Lake Road,
Tallahassee, FL 32317 in a triangle between the communities of
Chaires, Capitola, and Lloyd.
From Tallahassee, the gardens are 7 miles east of the intersection
of Buck Lake Road and U. S. Highway 90 East (Mahan Drive), the Costco-Walmart
shopping center complex. The gardens are about 3 miles past Chaires
Cross Road and one half mile past Baum Road on the left.
Due to road construction and detours on Buck Lake Road, the gardens will be closed until
sometime in 2012 for recomposting of the flower beds and changes in the design. Email
